There are many businesses that are struggling because they are not maximizing their returns from their businesses. Some are losing market share, others are not selling as much as they would want to, others are losing consumers.
These happen for many reasons, market issues, category issues, competitor issues or own issues. Each require a different solution, but sometimes, the fix has to come from the 'man in the mirror.'
In my time as a Marketing Strategist, I find that more than a few companies are not set up properly to create demand for their goods and services.
They are not Marketing Ready.
What this means is that they are leaving money on the table, as the saying goes. In other words, they are not only missing out on opportunities, but also at great risk if a competitor decides to exploit that gap.
